This research center was founded in 2004 by the permission of the ministry of science, research and technology. Currently, the academic members of the center consist of 7 academic members of the faculty. It is located in the faculty’s special clinic, and has a diagnosis laboratory and an office. This center had permission to conduct research in the specific field for at least 5 years from 2005 to 2009. The main activities of this research center are study on ruminant abortion, neonatal mortality, infectious and non-infectious diseases in newborn ruminants and preventive measures to control diseases in order to increase production yield and improve public health.
